DSMG Recordings: Artist Reviews

I had the pleasure of interviewing the Gospel Group known as Day By Day and I am here to tell you, that they are just what the "doctor ordered" for the world today. Their smooth stylings and anointed lyrics, laced with an edgy Hip Hop beat, captures the very essence of today's music. You will be hearing a lot about this group in a short amount of time, "We're talking Stellar and Grammy here!"

When asked the question, "How would you feel if this project would just blow up overnight and you were nominated for a Stellar or Grammy?" Darrell Day replied, "It's not about blowing up or even record sales, but it's about reaching those who need to know that God is Real and that he loves them very much!"

They also mentioned their upcoming and first ever Christmas CD entitled, "Nowdatz Christmas" to be released, November 22nd, 2005. "I am sure that whatever they put their minds to, it is sure to be a success for the Kingdom Of God!"

Whether your 9 or 90, this CD is for everyone. The holy ghost dwells in this music! Don't let "Religious" people pollute your mind w/prejudice from their own agenda, this CD is definitely one for all who's love for the Lord is unlimited!!!!!!
Sista Mo - Maximum Praise Productions (May 2, 2005)
After reviewing this new Gospel CD, I found that there are quite a few inspiring songs. For instance:

Track 6, "Joy Comes", talks about our weeping may come, but JOY COMETH in the morning, and I know you all can get that.

Track 8, "God I Wanna", is giving God the thanks. In other words we didn't do it by ourselves.

Track 10, "Anything", is giving a nice word to the salvation of man.

Track 11-12, "Decisions, Decisions and Udon'thave2go", talks about you don't have to go to hell if you don't want to. I especially like the turning of the radio, "that's a nice approach.....something different". The drama was nice also and thought provoking.

Track 14, "Reconnect Me", talks about it having been so long since I talked to you, God. Now this one has good balance and it is an easy layout for choirs.

Track 16, "Can't Nobody", is something of a new modern sound. A remix of old & new with a soul message.

"All in All, I recommend this album, an interesting CD full of Gospel messages and Brother James "Curly" Moore is a genius on the engineering layout of these songs.

3 OUT 4 Stars!!!!!
